I’ve been collecting cards for over 20 years now,
& I have way more than I need!
I’m hoping I can share my collection with others who appreciate the hobby as much as I do.
It’s all too common in the world of Pokémon TCG to see complaints of new-product scalping, general price gouging, fake cards, poor shipping practices leading to needlessly damaged cards, and other forms of shady business practices that waste peoples’ time, their money, and leave them disappointed and disillusioned with the game and hobby.
To combat these problems and set a positive example, I am committed to the following good business practices:
Fun First: You will not find products for sale on The Pokétrader website that are priced higher than MSRP. I will never purchase products from retail stores for the sole purpose of reselling those items for profit. (It’s a bad business model, and it isn’t my goal to flip cards just for the sake of making money; I want to have fun first, and recoup as much of my costs as is possible while providing customers the best possible prices.)
Real Value: You will never see overpriced items on The Pokétrader website; any used cards I sell will be priced accurately using comparison sites such as Troll&Toad, TCGPlayer, PriceCharting, and PokemonWizard. As often as possible, I will try to sell cards at prices lower than current market rates in an effort to literally provide the best cards at the best prices for collectors & hobbyists.
100% Authentic Cards: Every single card you receive from The Pokétrader will be authentic or you get your money back. All cards from The Pokétrader come from new, sealed booster pack products purchased at local big-box retail outlets. On occasion you may receive vintage cards that were purchased on the used card market or from local card-shops; before I send these cards out I verify authenticity using multiple tests so that you can rest assured you will only receive authentic Pokémon TCG products.
Quality Shipping-Standards: I want to make sure that these beautiful cards end up in your hands looking exactly the way they did when I package them to send out. Every package mailed will be carefully prepared to protect your purchases in transit; you’ll also get free shipment w/tracking!
100% Satisfaction Guaranteed: No Refunds, all sales are final, but if something goes wrong, I want to make it right. I have no sympathy for buyers’ remorse, but if something out of the ordinary happens that ruins the buying experience for you, please reach out and let me know what went wrong so I can do my best to fix it; I want to provide products that feel good so you can buy with confidence every time.
